Bishop Kelley opened its doors in 1960. BK students are among the top academic performers in the state and their sports programs win more state championships than any other Oklahoma school of their size.
As a result of continued growth, the school’s academic and athletic facilities have become outdated and inadequate. New buildings have been added, but without a master plan, the location of these facilities has done little to provide a cohesive campus experience. The administration knew there was a tremendous need to both update and build new facilities, but how to go about doing that was more difficult to grasp. They needed a plan.
