November 2013 — Selser Schaefer Architects is on the move to a second office in Dubuque, Iowa. The historic yet progressive riverfront city, just minutes from both Illinois and Wisconsin, is filled with beautiful, old brick buildings — witnesses to its cabinet-making industry that once flourished there. The opportunity to open new doors and expand the firm’s collaborative work arose when long-time members of the Selser Schaefer Architects team, Andrew and Emily McCready, recently returned home to their Dubuque roots.
