Honoring a building’s parti – and bringing its story to life – often stretches the traditional boundaries of architecture. Selser Schaefer Architects is involved in extensive, hands-on research to ensure the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Council House is returned as closely as possible to its original presence when it was built in 1878. The Council House is the very heart of the nation and its authentic restoration will honor its people and history, while engaging the broader Okmulgee community with pride.
