Prhyme Downtown Steak House

After first opening its doors in 2012, Prhyme was ready for a refresh. At our first meeting with Justin Thompson (Owner and Proprietor Chef of Justin Thompson Restaurant Group), we learned about his vision for the space and desire to see a more modern, clean, and elevated interior.

The existing design felt outdated and Justin looked forward to partnering with Narrate Design to reinvent the interior color and material palette, bringing it into better alignment with the quality of the menu.

Guest experience was at the top of the list. Beginning with the entry vestibule, guests are greeted with a custom wood and glass door. An upscale wallcovering with a subtle shimmer sets the stage and adds an elegant look and feel to the clean interior palette. A natural stone feature wall frames the dining space, creating a beautifully textured backdrop for guests. Cozy horseshoe booths offer a more intimate option for diners.

Not to be outdone, the bar area displays a custom wall graphic that, while simple, is the perfect addition of drama to the otherwise sleek, modern space. New light fixtures are suspended in the space as pieces of art themselves, refined in both shape and color.

The doors reopened after an intensely quick construction schedule of only two weeks. Guests were wowed by the transformation and delighted to see the investment Justin Thompson made in this restaurant so perfectly situated in the Tulsa Arts District.
