Welcoming for Students and the Public
The renovation brings a brighter, more welcoming presence to Sangre Ridge Elementary. The exterior was refreshed with cream brick and vibrant color accents, giving the campus a renewed identity that reflects the energy of its students.
A new addition introduces a multipurpose gymnasium designed to support both athletics and performance. The space features a rock-climbing wall and a stage for performances, assemblies, and school events—spaces where the mighty Ridge Runners can showcase their talents.
To better serve the broader Stillwater community, the addition can be secured independently from the rest of the school. This allows the gymnasium to host evening events and activities while maintaining the safety of the academic areas.
Inside, the cafeteria and media center were relocated and reconfigured to better support student needs. The redesigned media center is now a flexible, light-filled space that encourages a range of learning and collaboration. In the cafeteria, colorful acoustic panels provide a playful visual feature while reducing noise and reverberation in the generously sized gathering space.
Kid-Friendly Courtyard
The new addition also helped create a protected courtyard between the existing building and the expanded campus. This tucked-away outdoor space offers younger students a safe place to play and explore—whether running, riding trikes, or simply enjoying a little fresh air between lessons.
The Sangre Ridge renovation celebrates teachers, students, and the Stillwater community, creating spaces that support learning, creativity, and connection for years to come.
