“As a student who attended Sangre Ridge in 1980 and now the principal, I am excited that Narrate has found a way to incorporate the open concept model of 1980 into the academic needs of today.”

- Ryan Blake, Former Sangre Ridge Elementary Principal

Sangre Ridge Elementary

Stillwater Public Schools

A School Built with Legacy + Community Input

When Sangre Ridge Elementary opened in 1980, its design centered on collaboration—an idea that was ahead of its time. More than four decades later, that same principle guided the vision for its renovation and expansion.

The process began not with drawings, but with conversations. Teachers, administrators, parents, and community members helped articulate what today’s students need to thrive. Their voices informed a design that supports a growing student body while strengthening the sense of community that has always defined Sangre Ridge.
