From its place of prominence overlooking the formal gardens of OSU, the Atherton Hotel has long been central to the OSU campus experience. Since opening its doors in 1950, the hotel has had a reputation for sharing its hospitality with thousands of guests, including five United States presidents.
OSU turned to Narrate Design for a complete infrastructure upgrade to modernize the hotel’s plumbing and electrical systems. But the university’s focus on “what’s needed” quickly turned into “what’s possible”.
We created a three-phase Master Plan to bring the Atherton Hotel in line with modern expectations of luxury while holding true to the signature Neo-Georgian architectural style that signifies your arrival to the OSU campus. The Zebrowski Design Group designed the hotel’s interior public spaces.
